TAKE A LITTLE PEACE OF MY HEART, NOW, BABY
TAMBOURINES AND ELEPHANTS ALL PLAYIN’ IN THE BAND….well, at least in my bathroom window. That’s what goes through my head when I look at this . ~ It’s a little piece of zen in front of my frosted window to the world ~ Well…anyway…(speaking of zen)… I looked through some photos taken in Sedona, recently, of some great statues inside of Tlaquepaque ~actually they are “outside”~ in front of the galleries. What a gorgeous place to take an evening stroll. I like going to places like this and the Scottsdale galleries, etc. at night when everything is closed. It’s quiet and peaceful, things are seen in a different light and it is FREE!
Having bought the paint last summer, I have been meaning to paint my ~ now “mermaid”, guest bathroom ~ in shades of brown. These statues remind me of the feeling that I want when I walk into that room. I’m meditating on obtaining some motivation for this project! Anyway, let’s all stop for a moment and look at these Buddha and Kuan Yin statues and BREATHE!
