THE MORE THINGS CHANGE….
…The more things change! The evolution of a painting is one of the most exciting parts of the process. Usually what I think I am going to do takes on a life of its own somewhere along the way.
And I am pretty sure that is what keeps me up past midnight waiting for paint to dry. As each layer reveals itself, I become hungry for the next idea. I am also a “wanderer” by nature ~ so each painting becomes some kind of adventure and soothes the part of me that is easily distracted by “shiny things”, so to speak.
