This year’s holiday season started out with one party after another. To protect the innocent and not-so-innocent, I have kept the photos vague or without people in them. I think that I may have the smell of campfire forever embedded into my skin. It is that time of year when there is nothing better than hanging out around a fire with a bottle of wine and good friends. Chocolate wine to be exact. It is my new love.
We made it to the Lingo Thanksgiving, Saturday night. That was a huge hippie potluck with a live band, lots of friends that I don’t see often enough and lots of good things. We later moved onto another friend’s party that was fabulous. Again, there was a campfire and live acoustic music. ~ I LOVE my circle of friends ~ I have so much to be thankful for.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!! We booked our room at Arcosanti for Christmas. The sky suite is our “home away from home”. Looks like we are guaranteed a peaceful, joyful holiday in the high desert.
” No phone, no lights no motor cars,
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primitive as can be.”
Actually, there are lights and the luxuries are really simplicities. They are closed on Christmas, so I believe that it will be more low key than usual.
In the meantime, the flu has kept me from attending the Lingo Family Thanksgiving this evening, once again. This is such a disappointment. Tomorrow is the Big Love For Citrus Festival, in Tempe, and I am hoping to be well enough to get out of this house and enjoy the festivities.

Nonetheless, it is always a family party full of beautiful people and a huge circle of LOVE for Citrus!
