SOMETHING NEW*SOMETHING OLD
Quite often I feel like busting out and trying something new, I actually have to talk myself into it. It’s bizarre.
Anyway, … so I start painting this background with nothing particular in mind. Just letting the mood move me. It’s all good and I’m loving how it feels to move the paint on the brand new, fresh canvas. Then, inevitably, the colors slowly turn muddy and at some point everything seems to go south. Of course, by now I am having ridiculous conversations with myself in my head. It is nearly impossible for me to create with chatter going on, involved in an inner, mental battle. In the end I slapped gesso over everything. *Sigh*
