Weird Holly’s Farm

The Wonderful Weird Holly’s Farm. A magical tree house sort of place. This is the Main House on the property.

The front door and the front deck. We have had some fabulous times on that deck! Great parties and just good old fashioned visiting.

The catwalk around the upstairs bedroom.

Stained glass windows around the rounded living room.

Natural resources are the best.

I lived right across the street from “Weird Holly’s (thought it was spelled “Hollie’s” from what I recall) Farm” in the early 80s when I was just a kid. It was really such a mysterious, magical, and kind of scary place to an 11 year old. There was this flock of peacocks that would roam around outside sometimes and we’d get a real kick out of them. Do you know any history about the place? I’ve always wondered about it. I drove past it last week and was glad to see it relatively unchanged though I didn’t see the “Weird Hollie’s Farm” sign out front. Me and my sister would ask the other kids in the neighborhood about the place. “Who is Hollie?” “Why is he weird?” “Is he a she?” “What do they farm there?” (I’m maybe getting a better idea on that last question.) Soon after we had moved in our cat disappeared. I thought maybe Weird Hollie had got him, lol. Ah, memories!
