ART JOURNAL.
I just started an art journal tonight and it was soooooo much fun just playing. I began by applying paint to the pages and then adding torn paper, images, a matchbook drawing with pen and ink,and writing some of my favorite Albert Einstein quotes on the inside cover. I don’t take the time often enough to just create for myself, without reason. I get wrapped up in creating art for others (not that is a bad thing!!! it is a WONDERFUL thing and I LOVE it!). I realized how seldom I sit down and scribble around with whatever is in front of me, lately. This is something that I really enjoyed and was lost in art~world,suspended in time and space…the ultimate art high! I constantly try to achieve that state of being, a sort of “chasing the dragon”, so to speak. …Well, I feel full and satisfied and I cannot wait to play with the next pages tomorrow! I will let this one dry while I dream sweet dreams tonight.
