Bohemian Folk Art by Tracy Dove

ARCOSANTI.
A gem in the high desert. I am sure that I write about it a lot. It is my favorite place on earth. We spent Thanksgiving there this year and it was just amazing. Our time was spent with two dear friends and our small family of four. The residents welcomed us with open arms to their celebration. It was lovely. If you have never been there….you MUST go, at least, once. They have many workshops available, as well as concerts and special events throughout the year. I have been going there since I was 16 years old. Beginning with a concert/festival (in the 70’s), and I keep returning. It is only an hour away from my driveway to theirs and peace and tranquility are always found there. This visit, I was able to play the grand piano…fully open and functioning….it was so beautiful. I have never heard my music like that before. Very, very rich.
So, now that I am caught up with Thanksgiving news, I am waiting for the rainstorm that is just on the horizon. We are supposed to get a weekend full of rain. I really hope it is a big one!!
Peace, Love, Art and RAIN!

You know, I played the piano for 18 years. I had a stepmother who had a grand piano and one day she finally let me play it. The anticipation was killing me….and then…it was awful! I hated the way it sounded and felt…:( Never played another one again. But I’ve never heard anyone say that before…everyone seems to love them. I’m glad you had the experience and that it was good…:)
    Blessings sweetie…
